I have been watching 1980 of The Doctors and think it is excellent.  Doris Quinlan has done a great job and I do think the stories by Ralph Ellis and Eugenie Hunt are great.  Lot of action which was big in 1980.  Finally, a couple of remotes.  Great new additions.  The siege of the hospital is a month long an it was great to bring back David Canary as Warner AKA Far Wind.

I was going through the magazine Daytime TV and there is an article saying that early 1981 NBC bought the rights from Colgate Palmolive.  Not in 1980 which has been eroniously reported.

Here is the article from Daytime TV magazine from Mid 1981.

Thanks for the post @GymnastGuy very interesting. But could it be moved to The Doctors thread? Things will get very cluttered if posted individually.

Do you have any other Daytime TV articles you could post?

Doris Quinlan was a great producer, and Robert Ellis/Eugenia Hunt was a great writing team.

They scripted what was probably my favorite soap opera mystery, the Stanley Norris murder on The Guiding Light!

The show was in wonderful hands.

I had never heard rumors that The Doctors could possibly have been moving to the NBC studios in Brooklyn before.
