Yep

This is definitely a Ron-written show 😂

Which is why I’m surprised that the first bit of nudity we saw was from a woman 😂😂😂

Why is Gwen still around? Such a flop character

Because she is a creation of Ron Carlivati, so he cares ten times more about her than anyone else.

Female nudity has somewhat always been more acceptable than male nudity, which, to me, is a sexist double standard.

Exactly. Easier to write for a character that doesn't have a complicated history that's already been aired on the show.

The problem with so many of his creations of the last 6 years is that so few of them have any depth.

Gwen has depth. She's from the United Kingdom or something, she definitely has the expertise of being a nanny, and she's an exceptional journalist who works hard, and she takes pride in her work.

Gwen is umm ... well ... she makes exceptional banana zucchini nut muffins for starters, she likes to go on long walks by the beach during sunset, and also likes taking luxurious bubble baths while in France.

What do you MEAN when you say that my homeslice Gwen has no depth?

The only character he has created that has been worthwhile was Stefan, however, that is not saying much since that role was a retcon.  And then completely ruined with the pairings and storylines.
