Eva I believe just wanted to keep the headhunter job and was afraid what clients would feel if they knew she was acting too. HOWEVER she was at Y&R and I could why some like EB could see that as degrading the show I feel he went overboard attacking her acting Although she seemed embarrassed that they showed a Y&R Clip

Ok if this is all she said then EB is being ridiculous and he needs to delete those tweets. She was clearly talking about being a headhunter and not wanting clients to know she was acting too because most people think actors in general aren't smart.

I get her side. I get his to a point. He saw it as her downplaying her Y&R days and I see how he can get there with her needing to hide it, to keep that headhunter job. However. attacking her acting was OTT.

No But she was saying she was hiding the fact that she was an actress at that time from her Head hunting Job. She stated that she was worried that her clients may feel she was not taking that job seriously.

FINE

At the same EB sees that interview and maybe he sees her words as well did she her job at Y&R that seriously?

Plus she was doing the headhunting job out of her Y&R Dressing room. Was she even allowed to that. Remember this was 2001-03 and things were different back then

I saw the interview. Eric is an idiot.

Posters on Twitter going after Eva just because Eric trashed her without knowing what he was talking about. Ridiculous!

Eva has never spoke badly about her time on Y&R from my knowledge. The only thing she ever said was how she thought the "men were divas" and she alluded one of her leading men (whether Doug Davidson or Christian LeBlanc) would sometimes make her mess up her lines, because they always said something that wasn't scripted, but Eva would get the blame for it I guess when she didn't know how to respond.

Braeden sounds like he's just being Braeden, but i sort of get why it's misinterpreted.

My question to Eva would be

You were worried about by not taking the head hunter gig seriously if you were seen acting

Ok

but then I would wonder how seriously she took the Y&R gig, especially since she was headhunting for the other job out of her Y&R dressing room

She does sound dismissive. She starts out cackling that they shouldn't show a clip (admittedly a dumb storyline) then talking about how she was making more money doing whatever remote job she had out of college which is kind of implying that career soap actors are losers. All they said is you started on a soap and the only thing she could think to say is she had another job and was so embarrassed they would find out she was a dumb soap actress. His reaction is vintage EB but his interpretation of this as denigrating the genre is spot on IMO.

    • They said the teens had gone out for the night. With who? They have no friends to speak of. They should've been there at the party. The excuse was lame.
    • This is how I remember it, too. I remember Evie confronting Rita about her involvement with Tim when she knew she was in love with him. Bawling her eyes out, talking about how she dreamed of marrying and having children with him. It's amazing she and Rita stayed close after that. I don't recall who he left town with. Yes, Holly definitely evolved/grew up after she and Ed split. I remember Lynn Deering as Holly. She was very different from Maureen Garrett. I remember Garrett's first episode. She is a rare example of a recast who caught on with the audience fairly quickly. They were pretty much over--Evie saw them hug goodbye when Hope was about to leave town. She misinterpreted the kiss, fell down and hit her head. That's how she became blind. Robin Mattson was playing Hope at the time. If they didn't want Elvera back in the mid-80s, it could have been interesting if they had brought Robin back to play a Hope with more backbone.
    • "Make them laugh.  Make them cry.  Make them wait."  They nailed the wait part.
    • I really CAN'T with the two dolls comment. It's so cynical. So disgusting. A billionaire telling normal working people this is just... you can't make this sh-t up. That's comics villain level of vile.
    • This episode was on fire and definitely the best the show's done so far.  And of course the two big reasons were TMG and Ambyr Michelle who were phenomenal.  This could be both their Emmy reels.  Sad thing is they will probably be in the Supporting category so only one of them will win.   Claybon was pretty good when Martin confronted his dad. I'm glad to see he's improving.  I also liked that scene with Andre with Eva, showing some compassion with his cousin.  Now that the secret is out, Eva and Leslie can start to interact with more of the cast, like at the end of today's episode with Leslie showing up at the Dupree's.  And hopefully that will help the show be not as boring - this storyline was the only one that was truly interesting, and now it gets to branch out.  Minor nitpicks: bad editing during the Eva/Leslie/Ted scene by themselves, and when Bill was rubbing Hayley's feet.  They gotta clean this up.
    • It's the best episode ... in months.
    • I'm sorry to respond so late. It's just this is the first time I'm seeing this. You are amazing! Thank you!
    • I like KKL's hair straight, but I also like the waves. I have no issues with her hair... AN and JMW on the other hand... have had some rough moments hair wise the past few months.
