According to Errol in this thread, Sheri was (maybe still is?) at Days as storyline consultant. I don’t think Days has had anyone in that role since James E. Reilly in 1998.

Per @JAS0N47
https://www.jason47.com/days/staffdatabase.html

When Ron Carlivati came on as headwriter,
the show brought in story consultants to work with him.

Ron became headwriter
with episodes of airdates beginning July 19, 2017.

Sheri Anderson and Ryan Quan both credited as
story consultants for airdates beginning July 19, 2017.

Sheri Anderson served as story consultant,
credited for airdates July 19, 2017 - January 7, 2019.

Ryan Quan began serving as story consutant,
credited for airdates July 19, 2017 through the present - he's still there.

Ron and Ryan are still credited for what is airing this week, but that will change later in December when the strike episodes begin airing.

Ahh, ok. I didn’t realize story consultant was the name of Quan’s position.

With me playing catch-up on GH, I have been wondering when the writers would return. Because GH has been good since the strikes and I felt part of that was the fact that stories were actually moving with beginnings, middles, and ends. And I would hate to see it go back to stalled storylines.

Dan & Chris's scripts have been here & there at the studio, as have they themselves, for a few weeks. Their scripts supposedly should begin to air a bit before Christmas. But, I do know that it was their idea that Chase propose to Brook Lynn. That's not saying the script of it from last week was theirs. Nope, just the decision to move them toward marriage was one of their first decisions, when they got back.

No writers listed for DAYS as of Monday's episode.

The Horton tree ceremony episode will be the litmus test for these scabs. Either they’ll nail it or it’ll be garbage.

So Monday is the official start of the scabs or was it the 4th?

It was in increments over several days.
First: no dialogue writers;
then a few days later: no dialogue AND no breakdown writers;
then soon after: no Carlivati and Quan.

Has Days’ garbage script editor Fran Meyer been replaced through the strike?

Thank you for this. I was literally wondering last week when RC started headwriting at DAYS. Wow.

So we had Week 1 Daily Script - scab content & then we had

Week 2 of that, which was also Week 1 of all the rest - scab content

And, that week, this one we're just completing today, has really seemed different to me, narratively.

I've never before experienced knowing this much about strike time. I'm appreciating it.

Imagine if MarDar got another chance! lol

You missed Gary Tomlin. It would be a nightmare if he returned.

Fran Meyers is the script editor who is terrible at her job and whose son Henry Newman was a nepo hire.

Paula Cwikly would be my pick. She was really good with Peter Brash in 2002-03.

I'm not saying I'm okay with writers going Fi-Core, but I am REALLY uncomfortable with anyone publishing the names of those who do. That's a little too "Red Channels" for me.

I left off Gary Tomlin as he is currently a director on General Hospital.
