We only got maybe 20 minutes of her before they rushed her off the stage and the lights went up. I was angry and sad that this happened. Not just for her and ourselves, but for so many people in the crowds who got all dressed up, wore their best faux furs, jewels, wigs and everything else and wanted a beautiful evening see Miss Patti do her thing. Thinking about all the things that have happened in public spaces where people are gathered trying to simply enjoy themselves.
