Am I the only one who doesn't think of Victor as being a menacing threat?

Maybe its his resemblance to Shane Donovan, maybe its that his most sinister action so far was putting Charlotte in a boarding school (although, to be fair she wasn't getting that much attention at home), or maybe its that middle-aged Laura seems to be able to easily thwart his plans, but without goons and a goal, this guy seems like his bark is worse than his proverbial bite.

I mean he can't even afford his own underground liar.  Which does raise the question that given that Helena's will was already dispersed, who's funding Victor's plan?

I think a lot of it is that Charles Shaughnessy just looks like a nice chap.

it's because on a show full of bad people Victor is just an old fart being a mess. And that's really it. It's sort of like how we're supposed to see Esme as this "big bad" vs. Ava and Carly and it's like... really, girl? Or how they constantly try to paint Nina as conniving/scheming, viscious harlot and it's like... nothing Nina has done even scratches the surface of the what GH's main cast has done and is CURRENTLY doing.

i feel like it's also down to the people Victor is going after. If they were more seemingly innocent, it would come off more harsh? And also he's mainly going after all the vets, and it's kid of a relief to see that they have any story at all and he's breathing life into them so he's kind of like he's saving the day on a certain level. 🤣

I think Charles Shaughnessy is doing a great job as Victor Cassadine. Charles has ggiven such a smarminess, evilness to Victor, he doesn't seem like Shane from DAYS at all.
