Members kalbir
Susan Flannery the first entry that worked w/ Bill Bell on two shows. Eileen Davidson the first entry that went from Y&R to Reilly Days. I'm thinking the next entry on this list from Bill Bell Days that later worked w/ him again would be Susan Seaforth Hayes and the next entry on this list that went from Y&R to Reilly Days would be Lauren Koslow. Members JAS0N47
Kate Mansi was 58th (765 episodes) and Chandler was 59th (738 episodes), so they both just missed being in the top 57. Members JAS0N47
THE FIRST MONDAY "DAYS" PREEMPTION... The first time "Days" was preempted on a Monday was for the Sugar Bowl on Monday, January 2, 1967. At the time, the official "Days" time slot was 2PM-230PM ET. Jim Simpson and Charlie Jones were the announcers who called the Sugar Bowl between Alabama and Nebraska. Here's a look at NBC's master telecast report. Members Franko
And now we're onto the last dozen ... I'll make one last prediction. I would love if Macdonald and/or Frances made it to the top five.
Members edgeofnik
@JAS0N47 The daily pre-emption information is awesome. It appears the vast majority of Monday pre-emptions were *scheduled*, rather than breaking news. I wonder if DAYS had fewer full pre-emptions than the other soaps. Of course, several other episodes had some sort of partial pre-emption. At least that won't happen after Friday.
