The Daytime Emmy's used to be a Superbowl event for me back in the day, lol! My girl Cynthia won back in 1998, and after that, I didn't pay as much attention to the Daytime Emmys. Then, it was a drastic change 16 years later when I watched Eileen win. I was curious because I expect other award shows (e.g., Golden Globes, Primetime Emmys, Oscars) to get political, but wasn't sure about the Daytime Emmy's.
