Thomas is talking to Sheila on the phone, and Steffy overhears his side of the convo.  Thomas mentions everything that Sheila did about switching the bottles for Brooke.

Steffy tells everything to Finn.  Finn confronts Sheila with the truth.  Sheila is furious that Steffy told Finn, and Sheila threatens Steffy.

• The Newman clan will rally together to strategize to rid themselves of Ashland, but the "Locke Ness Monster" is one step ahead of them as he schemes his next devious plot! Victoria will be forced to a make a painful choice of whether or not to buckle to his demands. 
• Diane Jenkins returns to Genoa City, and she unleashes hell on those who have hurt her in the past! Jack, Phyllis, Victor, and Nikki will grapple with the consequences of Diane being alive as Jack's relations with Allie and Kyle are now threatened. Meanwhile Phyllis will sleuth around as Diane holds some grisly secrets about herself! 
• Conflict develops for Lily and Billy as Lily wants to stop Billy's podcast! The dispute over the  direction of the podcast and Billy's finding a new purpose in life for himself could spell the end of "Bi-Li"!
• As a blind-eyed Sharon begins to devote all of her time to her struggling children, a lonely Rey falls into the palms of Chelsea's hands, who becomes increasingly fixated on Rey in a very unhealthy way!
•  Chance swears he is improving, but Abby, Devon, and Amanda remain unconvinced as something still is not quite right with Chance. Meanwhile Devon, Amanda, Nate, and Elena plan for their future, but smooth sailing is not in the cards for the quad....
• Drama is the watch word as Mariah and Tessa's nuptials come closer to pass! 

 

B&B:

• Brooke will put up the fight of her life as she realizes that history is repeating itself as the classic endless triangle between her, Ridge, and Taylor has been resurrected as Taylor makes her own moves! 
• Deacon is left in a state of disbelief when he witnesses a crime he wasn't meant to see! 
• Grace will continue to sabotage Carter at every move! Will she go to far? Meanwhile Zende begins to realize something is wrong as well....
• Sheila's reign of terror begins to go up in smoke as her deception is unraveled, but Sheila  intends to have the last laugh! 
• A devastating climax and shocking conclusion occurs as the lives of Steffy, Finn, Thomas, Liam and Hope are endangered! 
• A beloved character returns to Los Angeles, but they may wear out their welcome back  fast when they immediately insert themselves into the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor drama!

More garbage time, yuck. We are one year away from Y&R's 50th anniversary.

The only thing interesting about YR is the Diane return. The rest are boring and the Billy/Lily story is embarrassing.

I laughed more than I should have. It is utterly embarrassing that Billy & Lily arguing about a silly podcast is considered a “big” story, but here we are.

As interested in watching those scenes I am, Jack calling her FULL NAME just takes me out of the moment so much. Wouldn't him saying "Diane" not have been enough? If the audience doesn't know who Diane is, they won't know who "Diane Jenkins" is either. So why write this extremely unnatural piece of dialogue this way?
It is small but it is one of these myriad little ways in which soaps could better themselves by not working from the assumption the audience needs everything spelled out.
