I’ve honestly never seen another community (not saying there isn't one) care about BTG the way people here on SON do. The passion is almost over the top sometimes... everyone has their own ideas, their own obsessions, their own hopes... but in 99 percent of the time... it all comes from a place of genuine care and love for the show. This isn’t some social‑media dump where people scream how much they love or hate something every day just to fill the time. SON is way more curated place. Me, I have no issue with the slow place/lack of BIG moments (for now). But when the dialogue starts sounding like some cheap amazon thriller prose, the magic just... dissolves.. and suddenly every tiny flaw becomes apparent. I don’t need big twists every week, like it was in the beginning... and hell... I'd even watch a show set in a single room if the writing was sharp enough. (STILL I can see where other are coming from about the sets.)
To be fair, the show feels more natural now than it did in the beginning. Back then it was all... tabloid‑style reveals and characters acting manic 24/7. Now it’s calmer, more grounded, more real. But if you’re going to make viewers wait months for some dramatic payoff, then YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM THAT PAYOFF sooner or later... That’s the price of raising expectations - people only demand quality from things they actually love. And that’s the part some seem to forget or choose to ignore. Usually... criticism isn’t random negativity... it’s a sign of affection. People criticize because they care. So when others dismiss those opinions or act like they’re too much... it's counterproductive to what the show wants to achieve - incite conversation, attention, growth with new viewers and etc. If anything.... silence would be the real warning sign. When people STOP caring and yes... criticizing... that's when the show will be DEAD. I hope I never see that day.
AND TRUST ME... Nobody on BTG will cry because someone on the internet said something about the sets or the dialogue.
