Side note: Can MarDevil permanently resurrect Charlie/Nick? If Dr. Rolf can do it... Plus compared to Gabi (premeditated murder/attempted murder), Ben, Kristen, etc., they can call Salem home. What Charlie did was horrible, but compared to Gabi/Ben? MM appears to be a good enough actor to pull off a redemption storyline. Bottom line: if EJ & Jack weren't played by good actors, they would've been written out. Members AbcNbc247 Posted November 8, 2021 Members Share Posted November 8, 2021 He could definitely pull off a redemption arc and there's nothing I want more then to see Mike Manning back on Days, but I still don't think most people would accept him back as Charlie. As a new character with no ties to Charlie, at least he wouldn't have all that baggage.
