I don’t think any character currently airing on one of these last soaps has been as mangled as Sharon.  Talk about a character that is unrecognizable and nobody in power seems to get at all.

Sharon has been written badly since 2009. Becoming involved with three sets of brothers and the father of one of the sets, and having a three way who's the daddy were the low points.

GH - killing off Jake and making Luke the drunk driver. Absolutely no benefit came from that story, and then it was undone. Worse yet, Lucky and Liz were epically what upon when JJ returned to the role.

OLTL- Killing off Jared and Nash. 

OLTL- making Mitch Jessica's dad and suggesting Viki let Mitch take Natalie away. It further destroyed Viki's character through her alters.
