Even a naked Carter isn't enough to keep me watching this show.  I need a break from all of it.

I think a Carter/Quinn fling could make me tune in more often. Is Eric withholding the dick as punishment or is he having some impotence issues and doesn’t want to admit it? They can make this a decent story if they choose.

For once could Liam not be long suffering and sweating Hope over something that he has control over?

Eric referenced taking the "little blue pill" when he was married to Donna.  I don't think you just recover from ED by getting older.

I have said as soon as this story leaked that I was hoping they'd go there. It is realistic enough and it provides some motive for Quinn to stray instead of the random irresistible attractions grown adults supposedly can't fight that Bell usually writes

Thanks, I forgot about that.

Agree, would rather see something along those lines and not “I was horny because he had his shirt off”

Not that I wouldn't totally high-five her for that rationale but indeed that would not be good characterization for a TV show

Quinn and Carter do the dirty dirty, but I wish they played it as actually dirty, and not this delicate, pseudo-romantic love scene set to a ballad. And you know Carter’s the one going under the bus for this.

Same here lol they almost looked like they were a couple already.

As glad as I am that Brad went there, I still think he's moving too fast. They needed to stretch this out for a few more weeks and play every beat. And since Carter's always been a good guy, and this does seem a little out of character, they really should write him as feeling guilty.

I agree, and Carter, for better and or for worse, has also always been extremely loyal to the Forresters.

I fully agree with all of this. Considering how long they dragged Quinn's dilemna about her attraction to Ridge, I wish they had either taken a bit more time to establish her as conflicted about cheating on Eric if they wanted the story to be about that or their tryst be wild animalistic "I need to get some now" incontrollable urge - which based on Carter's character would make more sense that it was a "All the blood left my brain" moment.
This weird hybrid was a bit of a bummer.
I have always given credit to B&B that with Brooke, they have given space to a more honest depiction of female sexuality. Fans could always debate their interpretation of her "morality" but it was rare enough to see a female character be explicit that she liked sex and she wasn't ashamed of it.
I was hoping that that honest blunt tone about women and sex would be part of the story.
Of course we shall see how it is covered post-coitus.

I'm sure most of you remember when Neil and HT's Victoria were simply flirting and the the crazies went beserk and Y&R changed the entire storyline.  I can only imagine what today's show must have done to their fragile cracker mindset.

I thought about that too. I haven’t checked Facebook to see what they’re saying. Twitter was loving it today.

A few folks on Twitter are saying Carter is ruined.  Right, Carter was a great character lifting weights on the rooftop every February...a real daytime icon 🙄

I haven’t watched Fridays episode yet but I’m excited to have Quinn back on. It’s my understanding that John McCook is semi retired so breaking Eric and Quinn up makes sense.  I loved LSV on Guiding Light. I would much rather have him be front and center for the long haul vs this constant Liam drivel week after week, year after year. For the love of god who cares about Hope in her Little House on the Prairie dress and Brookes opinion about her a Liam?

They need to invest more in Carter as a character. He’s ridiculously underwritten. Again, they lucked out with LSV.
