The real history: Sami and Eric had no idea who Roman was. John was the ONLY FATHER she and Eric ever knew. So the whole deal is a lot more complicated.

But that's a part of why she hates John and why John loves her. He's literally not her father and she while she thought he was and it's eating her up from the inside. I don't think every scribe gets it right, but I will say Ron seems to get Sami, even if it's unintentional and he just loves his catty bitches.
