victoria foxton
Just a week after Neal Adams death. George Pérez dies of pancreatic cancer. I love his artwork. One of my favorite pieces was a pin up of Teen Titans and Teen Titans West. Which appeared in The New Teen Titans #47 Sept,1988. Which was commissioned because the issue was a page short. In those pre internet days. I had no idea who many of those obscure characters were. Until i tracked down that mid 70's run. #RIP Please register in order to view this content Edited May 7, 2022 by victoria foxton
Members DRW50
I can't imagine my comics experience without reading George's work on Teen Titans and in Crisis. Supergirl's death in particular is superbly drawn and cuts right to the bone, then and now.

Members Khan
I'm always amazed by the fact that Mickey Gilley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Jimmy Swaggart were cousins and played piano together as children. RIP Mr. Gilley.
