May 10, 20205 yr Member I don't know that Sammy Davis, Jr. "found a home" on soaps, but he was definitely at home on them....but then again, he was the man who could do anything. Among other things, he played Bryan Phillips' father on GH in the early 80s.
May 10, 20205 yr Author Member This episode of TEON has some fun scenes with Kim Hunter and Farley Granger (starting about 11:28 in). Both playing aging Hollywood stars in a very meta way. Of course, Kim in one of the sexiest scenes ever on film.
May 11, 20205 yr Member Dana Andrews (Bright Promise) appeared in a number of classics. The best is Laura (1944) Judith Anderson was in that also.

May 11, 20205 yr Member Oscar-nominated Martha Scott (Our Town in 1940) played Terry Brock's grandmother Jennifer Talbot for several months during the Laurelton Murders storyline on GH circa 1986. When Jennifer was killed, I still remember Anna Devane being asked "Murder?" and answering, "No, she just crawled up the drainpipe and died." Made me laugh then.

Any executive with half a brain should have fought to keep them or at least bring them back later on.
