My friend would immediately said Rebecca Herbst. lol. Even took pictures with her and sent them to me. lol.

That said...

Susan Lucci

Erika Slezak

Misheal Morgan

Heather Tom

Eileen Davidson

Chris, Nathan, AND Tom...ALL of my Joeys.

Andrea Evans (who my above friend is very good friends)

I think those are the only ones that I would be nervous to see and I would push through it that nervous to see. Anyone else, I don't think I would have the confidence. Oh, wait!!! Genie Francis. But I would probably faint. And now that I think about...Jess Walton to get her feelings on how she's written.

I recently moved to LA and was able to meet almost the entire cast of PSNS during the most recent fan event they had in LA and I must say they are all super sweet people and it was great seeing them all at once. I even had tickets to see the documentary premiere that was supposed to be at Universal Studios this year but of course it was canceled due to COVID.

This year I had planned to go to the Day of Days event but didn’t get the chance, would like to meet the cast from DAYS next.

Oh yeah, I have no doubt about it. He and his family come across as genuine and gracious (well, except for MAB haha). I was just wondering if you had any info on how he is perceived as a writer and why he is not sharing his position as head-writer with anyone more, let's say, competent. I'd love to see how Lauralee would fare as a writer on their shows.

I've met Mark Grossman, Sharon Case, Christel Khalil, Kate Linder, and Christian LeBlanc last year at Kate Linder's High Tea in Toronto! Because of that, my income tax owing turned into an income tax refund

. All of them were really cool, easy to talk to, and stayed a lot longer than they needed to for the signing since there were so many fans that attended (they must have been so hungry by the time they finished). 10/10 would go again - hopefully COVID-19 will have died down considerably by December haha.

Would love to go to the Bi-Annual CBS fan events in Los Angeles - I've always been curious to see what that's like. Would also like to meet the GH cast. Lastly, I would like to meet Gina Tognoni - she seems to radiate positive spiritual energy.

I also met Terri Hawkes (ex-Wendy Masters, GH), although that was actually for a fan event for Sailor Moon. Very intelligent in real life.

I met Patty McCormack - not really a soap star, although she appeared on a few over the years, at a showing of her classic movie The Bad Seed.

She was very friendly and warm. I took the chance to mention The Best of Everything, the 1970 soap she starred in. She was surprised that I remembered it and said she had a great time doung it and the best part for her was meeting her now best friend Julie Mannix. I was just reading Julie Mannix's blog and sure enough she mentions watching GH to see her best friend Patty filling in as Monica.

    • I am blown away that Christie Clark is 51, and she debuted 39 years ago. They gave her a lovely script today.  But, I could not think of any other examples in culture of someone able to jump right back into the skin of a character, after virtually retiring from acting years ago. I was trying to recall if Carrie left for a bit with Anna after Roman died (because she wasn't at Bo & Hope's wedding), and then returned as a pre-teen Christie?  Or if she was just SORASed off-screen?  But, whenever I see the character I am reminded how much more trauma she's endured than Sami, and yet she remains such a nice person.
    • Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense. I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.
    • Rewatching some of 1991 I had to appreciate what a strong week March 5-12 1991 was. Cassandra dies, Nina shoots David, Sheila switces the babies, and drunk Nikki all occurring simultaneously. 1991 and 92 were pretty strong overall.
    • Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!
    • I really hope after the secret comes out their interactions don't stop
    • BAHAHA  I needed that laugh today. Talk about one note.  I would put Derek and Ashley a notch above Dani. Dani's scenes are basically rinse, lather, and repeat for 60 episodes and counting.  It's as if she was transported from the soap opera Passions onto this soap.  MVJ should put aside her friendship/admiration for Karla and look at the fact that this character isn't wroking as written.
    • Agreed.  It doesn't feel in character at all.
    • You could always tell whenever Douglas Marland enjoyed writing for a particular actor, because he'd pull out all the stops for them; and Julianne Moore was no exception.
    • I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the fact that it was Lois, of all people, who deceived so many people.  No matter how hard Rena Sofer tries to justify Lois' actions - and boy, does she work hard! - it just isn't something Lois would've done.
    • Honestly, Olivia had kind of a good reason to keep her son safe from a mobster for two decades.  Sonny literally shot Dante in the chest lol and had multiple family members die, get injured, threatened, kidnapped, etc, etc.   I know you don't watch the show very often, but it's not like Olivia should have shown up and given Sonny and his 18-year-old girlfriend Brenda shared custody of a kid.  That would have been a horrible, life threatening idea.
