I know Chloe's ornament famously broke but my mother swears that someone else's ornament broke right before they died not long after but I could never verify who she was talking about. Jennifer broke Laura's in the 1980's, but they are usually all "replaced" with the same one the next year (since a replica is used for the "broken" one).
