Members Adam
I was googling AMC actors and came across this article from last summer. He was okay, but Ray MacDonnell (ex Joe, AMC) accidentally drove his car into a pharmacy. He will be 91 later this month. https://www.theexaminernews.com/car-crashes-into-pleasantville-pharmacy/
Members danfling
Kay Campbell, who had been the third actress to play his mother (and who was also his co-star on The Edge of Night) also was involved in an automobile accident. This caused her death.
Members LeClerc
It made me sad to see him described as just "An elderly Chappaqua man"
Members DramatistDreamer
I am glad he and his wife are okay. Just goes to prove how little effort the soap industry has put into ensuring that fans and the entertainment industry recognizes the most senior talent in the genre. As much as I blame P&G for not properly promoting their soaps and many of their stars, at least they did recognize Helen Wagner, one of the original cast members of As The World Turns during her lifetime. The Daytime Emmys also do a shoddy job of promoting their classic/vintage soap stars.

Members amybrickwallace
Wow. I hope the MacDonnells are all right. Thank goodness the accident wasn't worse.
Members Paul Raven
It does point out the issues of the elderly behind the wheel. It's a difficult one as many older people want to keep driving to maintain their independence.
Members SFK
I was thinking the same thing, but to be fair, I can imagine my 39 year-old scattered self doing the same thing in a panic. I hate that this happened, yet I was pleased to see the couple looking rather healthy, active, and about. I agree. I just assumed that journalists these days Google everyone and everything. If not being associated with his AMC role saved him some face, then I guess I'm okay with it.
