Too much for soaps to do at that time, but it would have been great to have Henry have a late in life coming out..."Vanessa dear...uh...Brandon and I were a bit more then just business partners...while I meant nothing more to him then what the rest of those foolish women he bedded and tossed aside, I was in love. It was destined for failure you see, but now I have met this attractive and interesting young man on a trip and its time to tell you the truth! What, you can have a "boy toy," but I cannot? Nola understood, but she does say she is the neighborhood hag, and I am not quite sure what that means!"

I'm currently reading the memoirs of singer Billy Vera.  This paragraph is most interesting: from it I could easily figure out!  Basically it's about Marie Masters and Robert Lipton from ATWT.

OK, this one is admittedly a stretch, but since it was in the news, I thought that I would commemorate it here.

Kate Harrison (aka Andrea Gates - GH, Molly's first surrogate), the daughter of Gregory Harrison (aka Gregory Chase - GH, Michael Sharpe - FC) is engaged/dating Chloë Grace Moretz, who just came out as a gay woman while endorsing VP Harris's campaign.

Nic Robuck has never done anything for me. He doesn't move the needle for me.

I just read about Victoria Platt (Vicky, GL) (Dr. Raynor, DOOL) marrying VJ Johnson, a coach for the Atlanta Dream.

I wonder if this means she will be Atlanta-based, and if she might make an appearance on BTG.

It is no wonder why Tony Geary was rumored to be miserable.  Gay or straight, it is a bad choice to make your career so important that you can't balance a private life.  And, talk about being a big fish in a small pond, being the most popular soap actor is about as prestigious as being the best bagger at my local grocery; in the hierarchy of show business.  Thus, being so devoted to a job that only resulted in limited success seems like a waste if you've been unable to supplant it with lovers, friends, and non-achievement based pursuits.

But, can you imagine being his boyfriend and having to hear those lies on TV?

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
