Hmm. Well, it’s not coming home this time. I guess Wimbledon organizers are breathing an ever-so-slight sigh of relief.

Good riddance to England.  They need to go concentrate on the mess that is Brexit.

France is a country that has a good steady pipeline of talent in many of their sports (e.g. tennis) but their football team seems to be the most consistently successful at achieving at the highest levels of competition.

 

Hopefully the success of this team will stop French football from any further interest in implementing a proposed policy of capping and limiting the number of black and Arab descended youth from access to their national team's training program.
