I know! You're 100% right but I'm pretty sure they don't want to hurt the current portrayer's feelings or something.

Honestly, and this will likely never happen, they should just use the damn flashbacks whether it's the same actor or not. Most of the audience will get it. I think I heard one of the Oz soaps (Home & Away?) or NZ has done this.

I honestly would love that. Like you said most of us still watching have seen these recasts and if we haven’t we know of them, just show the damn scene.

If OLTL can flashback to Mia Korf while Kassie DePaiva is playing Blair, anything should be possible.

You’re right - on Home and Away, Debra Lawrance and Vanessa Downing have both portrayed Pippa Fletcher, and the show uses flashbacks of both actresses.

Oh LOL I just caught on Wednesday's episode and had to laugh at Ridge's complaint about Sheila. Of all the hundreds, if not thousands of fine dining eateries in LA the Forresters still insist at eating at a restaurant that is managed by Sheila Carter! 

 

Sorry Brad, but my suspension of suspension of disbelief has long gone out the window.
