OK, so Quinn Martin has been dead since 1987.  However, a number of actors known for roles on daytime soap operas made guest appearances on Quinn Martin's primetime crime shows.  For instance, A Martinez appeared in no less than three episodes of The Streets of San Francisco.  Leslie Charleson guest-starred on a number of QM crime shows before landing her General Hospital gig in 1977.
