Ratings for the week July 17-21, 2017

Yikes to those ratings.

OJ preemption hurt the flow of this week.

OJ SmoJay!  These shows have been sh!t for quite some time.

And ratings are up/down all the time.

 

But pre-emptions don't help.

Do we ever get delayed/DVR ratings for the soaps like they release for primetime?

 

 

We need to give Ron time as only 2 of his shows made the ratings. I gave Sally Sussman eight months and she stunk. Dena left show in a mess.

Dena did a lot of damage. A lot of characters have become totally unlikable under her pen. No one's in here saying Ron should be fired yet. I think most are willing to give it some time.

 

 

Kman the thing is we all want Ron to succeed because DAYS renewel counts on it. Cant wait to see Alison, Eileen and some of the good characters back.

Trust me, I want Ron to succeed. I think he's the right fit for DAYS. I always have.

Same here. After reading what y'all have said about him and seeing his stuff, I want him to succeed for sure. He's somewhat restored the feeling of the DAYS I grew up watching with the campiness and overall WTF. I've kept up with DAYS more since he came on than I have Y&R (which I badly need to catch up on)

 

I just hope Corday and/or NBC don't panic and also take into account OJ wiping out the daytime schedule for that day.

And I don't think Ron will have the same 'agendas' like he had at GH and OLTL where he was a fan before hand and thought he could do no wrong. He'll have his faults and tropes he falls into, like before, but I think hands down he can be a great fit.

Looks like Sean Spicer impacted Friday's numbers.
