PissAnt at GH is a hack and the ratings are in the toilet. SSM has failed at Y&R and needs to be replaced with Alden with Slater as Co-HW to run the day to day. Brad needs to hand over the reigns to Michael Minnis - he is simply burned out. 

 

But would an increase in quality equal rising ratings? I doubt it. The Nielsen system is over. 

I agree with everything except for Michael Minnis. Isn't he already his co head writer? He sucks and should be fired IMO.

Minnis is Co-HW...I don't think he's the problem because I think B&B's story problems are rooted in Brad's bad habits, not anyone else's.

If people haven't seen it by the end of a week they aren't going to see it 30 days after...LOL...I DVR stuff and sometimes don't see it and I just erase it.....I've done that with soaps whenever I got too far behind or just didn't care to watch the soap again.

Sorry, but these ratings are flawed beyond belief.

 

Y&R went up in EVERY DEMO, yet LOST 107k viewers??? Huh??? That makes NO sense unless you're telling me that in the 55+ demo, YR lost a couple hundred thousand eyeballs.

 

 

 

 

Also lets remember April is typically a lower viewing month due to the springtime.

All the shows suck.

 

 

Well if GH hired new head writers i guaantee it would Gary Tomlin and Chris Whitesell who is an associate head writer

Eh, you never know. We recently caught up on 4 episodes of American Crime and 4 episodes of Bates Motel in one day. 

 

It is quite remarkable how network ratings get progressively worse and worse and what used to be considered failure is now a success. If a primetime drama on NBC or ABC gets just 5 million viewers, it's almost guaranteed a pickup because by comparison, you have others only getting 3 million (i.e. anything ABC airs on Sunday nights nowadays).
