The news just did a segment on Don Rickles and I found myself smiling and even chuckling a few times. He had a sharp tongue and never lost it. Funny up til the very end. That quick wit will be missed.

    The clip of him breaking Johnny Carson's cigarette box when Bob Newhart was guest-hosting The Tonight Show and Johnny interrupting a taping of C.P.O. Sharkey to confront him will never, ever get old. Of course, my nephews and other young'uns will know him as the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the Toy Story movies.
