I've always believed that Nikki cares about Sharon deep down but also has this deep jealousy towards her and feels the need to criticize everything she does. She's like that controlling mother who tells their daughter how to live their life. I'm happy that SS is showing that other side to Nikki again. I do agree with you @GMac about Sharon's defensiveness being a little.. over the top. I mean Nikki was genuinely being nice to her and she was just really snappy, with her and Paul. I think they are just trying to show Sharon's pain with Dylan leaving and how she's dealing with that. She snapped on Chelsea yesterday too lol.
