Oh I agree. That Jack and Gloria stuff was so silly. (I watch the day ahead episodes in Canada) but as stupid as it was, it was pretty hilarious.

It was. I thought I was in the main thread because next day has been bleeding into that thread a bit lately, but I was the one in the wrong.

Well Morrow looks less greasy, not that that's saying much. I see that GT Phyllis is being styled like the third of Hollywood and Vine on GLOW. It works, I guess. When Gina Tognoni is the most youthful and vital presence on a show, the tale writes itself.

 

Those bits with Ashley and that Ravi guy are...strange. Strangest of all is Eileen just seems to be playing Kristen Dimera at this point. 

At this point wouldn't put it past Y&R to have Jack & Ashley sleep together and find out they're not related, later.

This show expects me to believe 60 year old Jack can still get it up after a night of drinking. Sure! 

 

The Underground scenes look like a rave from 1999. Our soaps, always 20 years behind the times.

I don't think Ashley is anything like Kristen. Ashley might be acting a little more bitchy and sexy in her scenes lately but the two characters are night and day. Ashley is grounded, always being the voice of reason while Kristen is...well.. Kristen

Darn, Jack has to be older than 60 because he was in Vietnam long enough to father a child and that war ended in 1975.  (And I agree that he should barely be able to get it up sober!)

It's possible for Jack to be on the lower end of 60 and still have fathered a child in Vietnam.
