Lisa de Cazotte,  a former executive producer on Days of Our Lives and Passions, is now a producer on The Young and the Restless. She is replacing Jimmy Freeman and Matt Olsen in the booth; they have been splitting the task. Freeman is a friend of Angelica McDaniel and Olsen has been with the show since the late-90s/early-00s.

Wasn't she a producer at Santa Barbara too?

I noticed Beth Millstein listed today. She was listed between Sarah Bibel and Matt Clifford.

If she is a part of the staff that is a plus for the show. Maybe she can show Mal Young how it's done.

She was great on Days as an interim writer before Hogan Sheffer took over.

A little insight... Mal is listed as the head writer, but all he does is dream up long-term story ("Wouldn't it be great if Nikki and Victor did X and it ended with Y?") for the show and then pass it off to Sarah & Beth to craft and storyline the show before the breakdown writers get to work. This is the UK model for writing soaps, not the US model. So, whoever you're seeing in the credits listed after Mal is, in theory, a co-head writer of the show since they're the ones executing his grand vision on a daily basis. For the UK soaps, they would be listed as "storyliners".

Probably. I dunno. The Santa Barbara folks have infected every soap on both ends of the camera by now.

I do believe so.  She is good friends with Nancy Lee Grahn and I think that is where they met.

Thanks for the info, and for the LdC scoop. :) I too would consider Bibel and Milstein Co-HWs (2nd tier ones ).

Looks like Christopher Whitesell is no longer at  GH. His name was not in the year end crawl on Friday's episode.

He usually writes breakdowns, right?  In the past year end crawls only listed script writers.  I haven't had a chance to watch all of this years.

They listed breakdown and script writers and he and Katherine Shock were both missing from the list

He was booted to make room for Bloom. I think Schock is going to Days:) And don't be surprised if Whitesell returns to Young and Restless.
