Soapsuds where u have been?. I have been gushing smarttv for yesrs. It stsrted on YR and now GH. Jean is what u call an icon

 Icons in daytime writing are Agnes Nixon, Irna Phillips, Bill Bel, Douglas Marlandl and Claire Labine to name a few. Jean Passante doesnt even come close

Ranger u simply should have seen Jean and Shelly work at YR to understand the progression of smarttv. It was the closest to a bell YR i had seen in years. They have lots of juicy story planned. These ladies are the saving grace for GH. To say they are miracle workers and they saved GH is an understatement.

Well to be fair, while their reign did bring me back to Y&R, with their predecessors being LML and MAB, there really was nowhere to go but up. 

Thats how smarttv was born it started on YR. The Delia memorial was just splendid it made me cry. Folks did u really think smarttv would live to three years?  Its just utterly amazing how much it has resonated viewers stating they are watching a smarter and better show.

You do know the Delia story was all Josh Griffith.

If ABC/Disney was committed to GH they would get people with talent.

Yes it does, it means they will settle for mediocre instead of trying to get a writer who has actual talent. They don't give two craps about GH, otherwise they'd have gotten rid of Valentini who is not interested in anything but show casing his pet's

I really wish Prospect Park would have proven a success. If they had, GH would most likely be prduced by them by now & I am sure I would be enjoying GH a lot more with PP then I am at ABC. I really loved both AMC & OLTL thru PP

Sorry, I can't give praise to Prospect Park. In the end, they were a disaster, barely giving us a year with those soaps. GH is a mess, but that doesn't mean it should've been turned over to the mess called PP.

I watched YR when Jean and Shelly were there. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't appointment television. As with today's GH, it was dry and it was dull. Very little pop, energy, and excitement. Always felt like something really good might happen soon -- and it never did. Lots of treading in place. 

They didnt "save" GH. They stopped the bleeding, but that's not saving the show. 

 

GH is not smart tv -- whatever the hell that is. You insist on saying that, but it's either ignorance on your part or outright trolling. You've never explained what you mean by "smart tv" but I understand that -- because it's a meaningless phrase.
