A good year before the Lyon brothers were battling for their father's throne on Fox's hit soap opera Empire, General Hospital's Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) was proving to be a worthy heir apparent to Sonny.

What a difference a TV season makes. Currently, the erotic, angry, younger brother of Michael and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is stuck in the minor leagues babysitting a recast. On what planet is it not clear that Craig is the future of this show? Give this guy something meaty to sink his teeth into before he books an ABC Family or The CW pilot, and we end up having to say we watched him on daytime when.

On a planet with viewers whose main priority is not whether Bryan Craig will sit on their face?

He was godawful in the "feud" with Sonny. Remember how thrilling it was to hear him whine "Mikey" 500000000 times? The only reason anyone started to care was when he became a cheap piece of ass for Ava, and even that lost fan interest after about two months.

Bryan Craig can barely speak his lines. He can't handle major story. If he is GH's future, no wonder it has none.

I'd rather see them become akin to the Gruesome Twosome on The O.C., or Keith Timmons (Justin Deas) and Gina Capwell (Robin Mattson) onSanta Barbara — a pair of shameless, amoral sex fiends who find less over-the-top ways to terrorize their foes.

It speaks volumes that he could not even mention GH characters like Heather and Scotty, even though Scott is Franco's father and Heather is his mother. That's how alien Nina and Franco are to GH.

He clearly knows nothing about Gina Timmons, a very dangerous and yes, shameless, sexual, crazy woman, but also a woman who had deep hurts (she lost her niece, she never felt that she could be good enough for her son). Robin Mattson played the hell out of that role. None of this is in evidence with Stafford. She's just OTT and nothing grounds Nina. None of her relationships with her family, with that emu Silas - nothing.

It was criminal how long it took Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) to get some booty on this soap opera. He should be sliding up and down Maxie's willing thighs at least twice a week.

I agree with several things on this list. Mostly I think the show needs to be grounded (without losing entertainment value), have a major dose of intrigue and a significant amount of romance. I also think Valentini needs to stay out of casting sessions for a bit, and let Mark find the talent like he did for the anniversary show.

I agree with that one poster. If I have to see one of Sonny's kid's control his Empire, I'd rather they just recast Kristina and have her come back a more independent woman. She's been gone long enough for it to be believable. I don't know one person who watches Empire to see Hakeem and Jamal battle it out. They're watching Cookie and Anika battle it out. The women's demo is down let's see some women leading the stories.

The Nathan casting does not equal the teen casting for the Wed special. I know Mark gets rave reviews for his casting but he's had a lot of clunkers lately…..Nu Kiki is another bad one.

GH has been showing crap for months/years already with Ron and Frank in charge…and all the bad writing and casting is finally showing up in the ratings. It just took some time for the female viewers to say that enough was enough. The gay mess was that…a mess...
