Honestly, I think a Latino woman would fit better in this kind of series than a Black woman would.

I guess one thing we won't see for CCB is a sassy gay BFF..

Not unless they wanted to change the name of the series to "Full Fashion House."

But seriously. That's always what I couldn't stand about the original series. They never wanted to do anything even remotely controversial...or realistic. Even the episode about DJ's flirtation with eating disorder amounted to lots of treadmill running and skipping one meal. I mean, even Kimberly Drummond on "Diff'rent Strokes" got to inhale and then purge a whole damn cake, for God's sake!

OMG, that was such an awesome sight to see for Arnold and the lil redhead. Don't we all wish we could inhale an entire sheet cake like that?

I saw CCB in some Hallmark movie and her acting was just terrible. I don't remember her being that bad as a child. Maybe she had more natural ability then. Or maybe it's some side effect of being in whatever bubble she's in.

Was it one of those "Aurora Teagarden" mysteries? Because, if it was, NO one is safe in those.
