horrible. I have to say Pratt's Flirt with Disaster story really didn't do all that much for their ratings. Days, I feel so bad, there might only be 100 viewers left by the time the new material airs by Higley/Griffith

I wouldn't worry. Same thing happened last year. It just means next week will most likely be all pluses and some of categories will have big pluses.

Years ago, on another soap board, some posters questioned why CBS pre-empted the soaps for basketball and I said simply...er, uh, guys, do you every check the ratings for March Madness?! For some reason, they simply didn't understand the huge $$$ generator for CBS that is college basketball. I don't follow college hoops but even I know this.

During the past few years, the realization has extended to the Conference Tournaments - that's what this past tracking week saw so many local pre-emptions (particularly in NC/VA). They even dump primetime programming in favor of basketball. It's really no big deal, the networks know this is happening

Ah yes, I just peaked at the ratings a year ago and see they rebounded during March Madness.

I'll be curious at B&B's numbers, granted Maya's secret wasn't revealed until the very end of Wednesday's episode.

Also spring fever is hitting and ratings usually go down especially with daylight savings

Wow. You mean to tell me that Serena's elephant statue storyline brought in the lowest 18-49 ratings in the show's 49.5 year history. Color me surprised!
