That was really good thanks for posting. Is Julie Hope's only sibling? Did Doug and Julie ever have a child?

Hope also has two half-brothers---Steve Olson, who was the son of Addie and her first husband, Ben Olson (Addie and Ben were Julie's parents),and Dougie LeClair, who is Doug's son with a surrogate mother, Rebecca North, who was Hope's nanny after Addie died. We've never seen an adult Dougie. He was raised by Robert LeClair (who had married Rebecca when she was pregnant). Rebecca was killed in a plane crash. Doug didn't know Dougie was his son until after Rebecca died. Doug and Julie never had a child together.

Hope is supposed to only be 41? ph34r.pngwhistling.jpg

Wow, I never thought of her as a character that William J. Bell introduced/created. I guess that's technically correct, since the characters wasn't introduced as an adult until the 80s.

Jason can probably confirm, but my recollection is that Hope celebrated her 18th birthday in late December 1983 so she was aged nearly a decade. If that age still stood (which I doubt it does since age is fluid in soaps) then Hope will be turning 50 a little over a month after DAYS itself does.

Yes, she had the big 18th birthday and wanted to sleep with Bo, and Doug ended up having a heart attack. Hope was first aged by 3 years in 1975, when Natasha Ryan (born 1970) started playing the role. So, Hope went from around 2 years old to 5 years old in 1975 (who played her until 1980). Then Hope jumped from 13 (what she would have been in 1983) to 17 when Kristian Alfonso took over the role in 1983. Based on it being the same actress in the same role in 2015, one could say Hope turned 49 last month.
