I was going to say that I'm surprised they didn't do some kind of marathon tonight to celebrate it, given that WW regularly airs on Saturdays already, but I'm really not surprised at all. They rarely break from the regular schedule.

I just realized since the Christmas stuff starts on the 16th, you can already look up the first week's schedule:

Monday: Family Affair & The Bob Newhart Show
Tuesday: The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis & The Lucy Show
Wednesday: 21 Jump Street
Thursday: The Doris Day Show & Make Room for Daddy
Friday: The Brady Bunch (Thanksgiving and Christmas)

Some were wondering if they'd do something big for the anniversary. Like a blu ray release of Wonder Woman….its out on dvd but having it on blu ray like Batman would be fantastic!

I'm suddenly EXTREMELY EXCITED because they'll be pulling out a Thanksgiving episode of Our Miss Brooks in two weeks, followed by Donna Reed, in primetime. Too psyched!

The full schedule of holiday programming has been released: http://www.metv.com/files/schedules/MeTV_2015_PRIME_HOLIDAY_CAL_ET_REV.pdf

Once again, I'm wetting my pants with excitement! At some point, even when TV Land was still mostly classic TV, they stopped pulling out other shows for marathons and only stuck with what was already on the regular schedule, so it's GREAT to have a holiday marathon that includes random shows that aren't on the schedule. The White Shadow, Vega$, and Our Miss Brooks are the biggest surprises.

The only thing I'd ask for is that they did something on weekends too, possibly a two or three hour block during the day.

Loving it.

So watching Mama's Family on Christmas night. Miss that show not being on a TV channel somewhere.

These classic channels are running on all cylinders.  White Shadow?  Lawd!  I love that show so much.  Next Thursday and Friday I'm off work, and classic TV is what I will spend my days on (depending on the weather)

I can't tell you how often I rely on some of these channels now.

At least some cable networks have gotten back into airing shows. Logo alone airs Facts of Life, Roseanne, Golden Girls, Designing Women, Bewitched ...

Been re-watching Quincy every day.  Poor Charles Aidman...Every time he is on this show, he's the "heavy".

Child molester, drunk driver...This poor guy never gets to play a good guy.  He does a great job, but I wonder why he never gets to play the good guy...
