Why don't people move to the center of a pew when go to church? It's not like they don't know more people are coming. Do they like people crossing over them? Or, is there something special about the aisle seats? I see this all the time and can't figure that out!

    I see this all the time at church or on the train or on the bus. Some people are just claustrophobic, they want "air", space, a quick "out".
