Members Nate4 Posted December 29, 2013 Members Share Posted December 29, 2013 I'm not really a classic DAYS fan so I was surprised when I read on Wikipedia that Kate Roberts was introduced in 1977 as Kate Winograd. I always thought that Kate was introduced in the early 90s, played by Debrorah Adair, which started the Kate / Vivian / Victor triangle. Also, if she married and got abused by Curtis Reed in the 1970s, how come she didn't recognize her children (Billie and Austin) in the 1990s? And why was she a prostitute when she had a working job as an anesthesiologist in the 70s? I checked SoapCentral and they list DA debuting as Kate in the 90s, too. Also, regarding Kate's kids: She didn't recognize them in the early 90s because she'd be led to believe they were killed as children between the time she left Curtis and when she went to retrieve them.
