How is "Up Late" doing in the ratings? Do you think this controversy will have any long-term effects on the show?

How this mess got a talk show I don't know.

In spite of his obvious issues, Baldwin is actually a very good interviewer. He's filled in on a number of NPR shows and has done a very good job. It's a shame he can't keep his temper under control.

Easy - he's a white male in America who - in spite of his misogynistic, racist, and homophobic behavior - has been rewarded over and over again with plenty of opportunities and excuses from counterfeit "liberals" who'd soon as throw a non-white person under the bus for lesser offenses.

I honestly love Alec Baldwin, always have, and I have a way different view of him than you all do. To me, he is a trainwreck who stirs up as much [!@#$%^&*] as possible, but deep down, he has a good heart, and has always been a terrific actor. I loved him on "Knots" and I loved him on "30 Rock" for entirely different reasons. He has lost his looks, but he is a liberal's liberal, and any homophobic remark he makes I truly believe he can blame on the alcohol.

He's always been a gross mess. Typical working class Irish man. Money can never rid a person of their roots.

I've heard MSNBC has pulled the plug for good. Is that true?
