November 7, 201312 yr Member General Hospital grew its Total Viewer audience for the fourth consecutive week, rising to an over 10 month high (2.91 million since 1/21/13), set an over 2 year high in Women 18-49 (748,000/1.2 rating) and over 2 and a half year high in Women 25-54 (989,000/1.6 rating) since weeks of 8/15/11 and 3/28/11, respectively placing a competitive #2 in the demos, and was the #1 program for the 11th week in a row in Women 18-34 (259,000/0.8 rating). Mondays telecast which included story lines revolving around Robin learning of Patricks engagement and Maxies frantic preparation for her babys return stood as the series most-watched telecast in over 3 and a half years in Total Viewers (3.16 million since 2/1/10), its second-most-watched telecast in over two years in Women 18-49 (857,000/1.3 rating) and two and a half years in Women 25-54 (1.13 million/1.9 rating) since 8/15/11 and 3/25/11, accordingly. Wowsa GH and this Ron carlivati telling his haters s@@k it bitches. They better pay Kim tons of money she deserves it.
November 8, 201312 yr Member Congrats to GH! Those are great numbers! I'm really amazed by that 2.4 on Monday!

Now why would they pay Kim tons of money when from Monday to Friday, 400,000 viewers checked out? She was on for the entire Halloween stuff. On Monday, the viewers didn't see anything promising, so they tuned back out. However, 2.7 million on Friday is better than the show has been doing.
November 8, 201312 yr Member So what are all the shows doing for sweeps? I know GH is bringing Robin back, what are the other shows up to? They better pay Kim tons of money she deserves it. Unless she's an aging white man, Kim isn't getting anything. We're still talking about soaps after all and ABC soaps at that. Edited November 8, 201312 yr by marceline
November 8, 201312 yr Member DAYS big story for sweeps is the reveal of Kristen drugging and raping Eric and filming it. Y&R's is another child death. B&B's is...figuring out whether Don Diamont will finally take a dump, I guess.
November 8, 201312 yr Member Damn Y&R is up almost 700,000 viewers from a year ago and u all think JFP is going anywhere. Wouldn't be surprised if Jill signs a nice big fat new multi year contract at Y&R. She is the teflon queen going nowhere. Well GH's ratings are stellar still. Fridays are usually the lowest rated day of the week surprising. They went down but seriously Ron/Franks biggest spikes throughout there two years its not Luke/Laura or other stars its anything dealing with Robin. Her return in November should get huge ratings. People have waited two years for her return and again Kim better get the big bucks. I bet DAYS will go up as it is the big Kristen reveal episodes.
November 9, 201312 yr Member Great news for GH! Can't wait for the spin by some on this board that ABC mentioning Robin, Patrick, and Maxie in Monday's episode in their press release actually supports the conspiracy theory that TPTB credits former OLTL actors for ratings. Glad Days is still doing fine too, and all soaps are up year-to-year yet again! Edited November 9, 201312 yr by jfung79
November 9, 201312 yr Author Administrator The year-to-year comparisons are higher than usual because last year was Hurricane Sandy week.

The press releases mention GH characters because RC doesn't write the press releases. The year-to-year comparisons are higher than usual because last year was Hurricane Sandy week. I was wondering about that. Thanks. Edited November 9, 201312 yr by marceline

November 10, 201312 yr Member Damn Y&R is up almost 700,000 viewers from a year ago and u all think JFP is going anywhere. Wouldn't be surprised if Jill signs a nice big fat new multi year contract at Y&R. She is the teflon queen going nowhere. I predict Chris Goutman will hired as EP of Y&R and Jean Passanante will be promoted as sole head writer. Then, Y&R will become the third soap cancelled under Goutman and Passanante's watch.
November 10, 201312 yr Member Congrats to GH! Those are great numbers! I'm really amazed by that 2.4 on Monday! Anyone notice that when PP's AMC and OLTL debuted, GH's ratings dropped. But, since AMC and OLTL have been on hiatus, GH's ratings are back up?
November 10, 201312 yr Member Well GH's ratings are stellar still. Fridays are usually the lowest rated day of the week surprising. They went down but seriously Ron/Franks biggest spikes throughout there two years its not Luke/Laura or other stars its anything dealing with Robin. Genie Francis hasn't been a ratings draw since the 1980's. Y&R's ratings fell when she was featured there. GH's ratings fell when she returned earlier this year.
