He's Franco in name only and has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in common with the previous interpretation. He also is too old to be Franco. I don't understand why he couldn't have been a Steve or Tom recast. I will agree with most of this post except him being too old. He's the perfect age to play Franco. I don't get why they are going the brain tumor route when they already went through great lengths to absolve him of his sins. Seems pointless that those video tapes were used as a plot point now when Franco's crimes could have remained but this tumor would explain away his actions

But that makes no sense because they erased all of the things that were impossible to redeem. This is an effort to get the audience to accept FrankenTodd because we'v never seen "The Brain Tumor Made Me Do It" before. I don't know about you, but I'm super excited

I think the idea is probably so that people will say, "Ron is trying SO hard! He really wants us to love Franco!" And then, because many people automatically love Howarth's tics and ham, they will feel bad if they don't fall into line.
