July 17, 201312 yr Member Definitely don't apologize. Was GH your original soap? Just curious, I always feel like fans expect the most from the soap that hooked them and first soap love is a high standard. Anyway I love GH too and want it to get better. I was pretty much throwing things and sounding like pre-censorship AJ Chandler watching it during that Chew/OLTL 3 return week. Minus the Franco mess (and for me Kiki too) which I don't think there's any salvaging, I feel like Cartini GH could change on a dime be enjoyable again by fall with a couple strategic storyline shifts. They're like that Mother Goose rhyme- when they're good, they're very very good and when they're bad, they're horrid yeah GH was the first soap I ever saw and then it was AMC and OLTL... I did enjoy some parts of Cartini GH, but what got me really pissed off is them totally ruining the OLTL characters to benefit the GH characters (like killing Hope and Victor III, throwing Natalie under the bus) and also dangling Blair/KDP when she returned those times.. July 17, 201312 yr Member Oh completely. Really that's why it's even more of a waste to make Brad this offensive cartoon. As others have said, I'd appreciate a layered gay villain--and then there may actually be potential for him and Felix. But we've been told and shown how utterly in everyway worthless Brad is--so there's not. So why add another gay to the canvas anyway? He's a haha character. Haha that stupid queer. That's what we're supposed to do. Point and laugh. I keep expecting him to start shrieking, "A MAN! A MAN!" and pass out. He just wants any random man. To go from trying to rape Michael to lusting after Nik is a little baffling. Michael is more of a twink type and Nik looks like a bloated out, coked out porn star who is now doing bargain basement websites to pay for his stash.

July 18, 201312 yr Member Silas has completely just become Michael, IMHO. Maybe that works--I always liked Michael more at GH than OLTL (but I hated him on OLTL...) I don't know what this means? You don't care what he does he just "fits" better at GH? That sounds grossly "Calivia" based to me. He spent 8-9 years at OLTL had multiple stories and multiple pairings but 18 months at PC and less at GH were a better fit? He was a better vampire or doctor (because they are similar) than a cop? Exactly--ANY straight guy (except Spinelli) as I said... Cuz you know, that's how all us predatory gay guys are. Sorry, opportunistic... (I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Ron C is not in a long term relationship.)

Woah--hold back. I don't like the characterand I find the actor boring. I never really cared for him on OLTL but especially nearthe end (when everyone seemed to praise him as a hero who saves lives--and yet I saw an inept cop who got in the way and caused lives to get worse.) I felt like when he joined GH his character fit on the show better--as long as I ignored how messed up the continuity was with his OLTL persona. That's simply it. But I meant when he was on GH as John, the cop. Not Caleb, not Silas. So simmer down Rhino--I'm on your side (I think...)
July 18, 201312 yr Member Bonus .00025 points for whoever scripted today's episode throwing in Olivia's joke reference to a Christopher Durang play. That's pretty much the only charity I'll give out.
July 18, 201312 yr Member I think Broderick's returns to AMC, especially the last one almost had shades of the old AMC... i'm sorry for always being optimistic about wanting to see the GH I loved and this whatever this is, certainly isn't Aren't you like 21 years old? When exactly did you grow up watching Labine and Riche's GH? If you watched it on YT or something and enjoyed it, great. But that's different. I felt like when he joined GH his character fit on the show better--as long as I ignored how messed up the continuity was with his OLTL persona. No, I happen to agree with you. And I don't think the continuity of his character was violated in any way. That's the same guy John always was.

You're right actually--and I think OLTL did a good job of using that GH story with Clint, actually--combining it into the Vicki story with him.

Just this whole panacea where he fits on GH because ... Annoys the [!@#$%^&*] out of me. He did nothing but lick Samsels bootie. And so far that's what Silas does. I guess that's fitting.

I don't care how old Cassidine is, he has an opinion and we can't all be as informed and smug as you are. Ignore is a useful function.
