The commentary on the shorter season definitely rings true. I think the 13 episode season will eventually become the norm.

I just wish I believed most shows were any more focused with 13 episodes. Most seem aimless even then. I do prefer 13 to 22 but I'd rather just see shows have talented writers and producers.

The ratings dipped again this week, 2.7 key demo. People need to watch live and stop DVRing.

I do both! ut they have great playback numbers with Live+3 and +7 numbers added in eventually.

Yes, but the +7 DVR numbers mean nothing to the advertisers and shows still get cancelled despite having good numbers there. People with the Nielsen boxes need to watch SH live.

True to a degree but I am glad networks are factoring those numbers in more because not everyone is able to watch live with so much clamoring for their attention. But I definitely watch SH live, quite enjoyable show.

Factor them in but don't rely on those numbers because you have to remember that if someone DVRs a show, they will NOT sit thru the commercials. Advertisers will more than likely ignore the DVR numbers.

Definitely agreed because if I am on my Ps & Qs I won't sit through them but there are times when I slip up and forget that what I am watching has been DVRed.

Glad to hear that FX'll be giving a marathon on Saturday, October 26th starting at 1PM.
