Finding out a respected doctor is or has been a stripper would be somewhat of a scandal in real life too. There probably is more to why Cameron is being blackmailed though. I don't see why him being a male prostitute would make the story better, although it's not a bad idea and might be where they're headed too.

Never trust spoilers and promos, they're usually highly incomplete and misleading. Espeically on a layered, character-centric show like DAYS is now, they fail to capture the truth of a story, though perhaps capturing some surface plot elements.

This storyline was lame in the 80s when it was Pete being blackmailed over working at Beefcakes.
