What I can tell you is I've always been very emotional or sentimental about things I love, and I've been watching these shows for most of my life, since I was very young. I had every reason (as did others) to be very, very skeptical of this project when Prospect Park came back into the mix, but they have far surpassed my expectations and I think they deserve every ounce of my and our possible support. Even if the stories aren't to my or others' tastes (though I hope and expect they will be) this is a tremendous, unbelievable achievement. This is the future and you either get onboard or get left behind. And for them to do it up this right, with these particular shows and these particular people who have been disenfranchised or disrespected or counted out so many times, by so many other people, in so many ways, means a great deal to me.

I concur, very well put.

I never really took issue with people who doubted that this thing would actually happen. I was more annoyed by folks who wanted it to fail because they assumed their favorites wouldn't be onboard.

It's another reason I do wish Khan and a few others were still around. Amidst our constant stream of jokes about Prospect Park terrorizing the cast and crew like a cut-rate Jersey mob - burying Marlene McPherson alive until she signed a contract, etc. - we talked a great deal amongst ourselves about our fears and concerns which had us torn between our hopes and what I think both of us had a lot of, which is ruthless pragmatism.

But as much as I am a pragmatist, I am also an idealist. I think cynicism is for the birds, I always have despite my brittle exterior. This is real and it's wonderful, and I still have a hard time believing it. It's a dream.

Ruthless pragmatism is understandable, and sort of how I felt. It is a way to shield yourself as the possibility of it happening felt nearly impossible.

Wow Robert Woods looked really good in that, I find him kinda hot lol

I love that shot of David and Ray. And seeing Erika and Julia just makes me wish we'll get that Viki and Brooke publishers lunch date someday.
