So the returning fan favorite that OLTL EP Jen Pepperman teased about yesterday on twitter was Snoop Dogg, not Shaun!

I was gettin' tired of him in his last run. He can take about a decade break.

Ugh I don't mind Snoop & I love that he loves the show but don't tease him as an OLTL fan fave- he's not a character. He can leave for a couple years now- I don't want him to be Matthew's conscience permanently.

Those who want to know who the tweets about it's about Nic Robuck who played James Ford on OLTL

How is Nellie just now finding this out?

they make a cute couple, I don't get why he doesn't come out, but I understand, he might be afraid about his career, but I would think Tuc coming out would do something.. well when he's ready

I've heard (and would believe it) that the American soap scene is especially hard to come out in--not sure if it's pressure from the actor agents, or from the networks, or what, but, the thankfully starting to be dated belief that women especially won't accept a romantic leading man if out and gay--since I guess they think soaps are only watched by sexually frustrated women who dream of being in bed with all these rapists and killers--is even more prevalent there. Tuc was already basically out (probably even before his gay role on Housewives he didn't really hide it) but I wonder if being away from ABC helped.

Because Nellie's "sources" are usually slow or incorrect? I know I shouldn't make a big deal about it, but it seems rather salacious that he has to point out the star in question is attractive. I mean he's on a soap--unless he meant an older actor (though James Mitchell was super attractive IMHO--and of course that was a few years back and he was as out as you could get basically) or one or two "quirky" looking guys on daytime, most of them at least fit some sort of generic attractiveness.

I think so too being away from the networks helped.. look at long before we found out Maureen Garrett was a lesbian with a family of her own, and how the network decided not to do a same-sex storyline for Holly..

"Holy Sh*t! The fans have spoken. No more cursing on One Life to Live starting Today. To commemorate the last 6 weeks of all the foul mouthed moments WATCH THIS!"

So apparently PP is caving to fan demand on cursing. I don't have super strong feelings but I really REALLY don't want to think the FB commenters are in the drivers seat on what we're going to see on these shows.
