I don't really like any of those people, but as long as they are not long-term contract players - and it doesn't sound like it, though Raines is likely a major player in a story, which is fine if he's a heavy of some sort - I'm okay with it. I just hope it's not the creeping influence of Chris Goutman. Stay in the director's chair, Skeletor.

Michelle is probably a temporary roadblock for Matthew/Dani. MS's character may mess around with David but I doubt either stays.

RR is a permanent cast member of the show according to TOLN's press release!

Ok...really wasn't expecting an increase in cast size given the reduced episode order but keeping an open mind. I guess some canvas space will be freed up when RH heads back to GH. Marnies character sounds pretty minor. doesnt the casting director have some history with P&G- maybe shes trying to help some friends? Michelle will probably be heavy in story for a bit but i envision her as a crazy who messes with Dani or kidnaps Drew then is written out. Paolo's character description seems the most out there.

Paolo's character is most intriguing... I wonder if this will bring back the many art galleries Llanview has..

also now I wonder if Jack's going to sleep with his summer school teacher

Did llanview have art galleries? I'm blanking.

Kind of love the idea of jack ripping off Pacey from season 1 Dawsons creek.

Museums and galleries
  • Rappaport Art Gallery
  • Buchanan-Lord Gallery
  • Lord/Buchanan Gallery
  • Llanview Museum

would be interesting if they go that route with Jack..

Ron Raines is the only casting I'm thrilled about. I grew up watching him as Alan on GL. I loved him back then. One of my favorite vet actors.

So, I'm kinda thrilled they got him.

I liked Marnie as time went on and I'm interested in giving her a shot here. I do love what we know about Ron Raines' character. He could be a great new component to the many older characters on the show. I wonder who he'll mix it up with! And Paolo is a sex god and will be fabulous. I wonder if he'll be Kassie DePaiva's love interest.

Wasn't there a casting call for a guy named "Rich" for OLTL, who was a wealthy businessman in his 40's who was attracted to younger women? Is the "Rich" character perhaps the Arturo character that Paolo Seganti (who's 48 yrs. old) has been cast in now?
