I still cannot believe some people don't think that you can see the shows for free.

It says...on Hulu, Hulu Plus, and iTunes....Regular Hulu is free people!!!!!!! *to no one on this board, just venting my frustration about other people I've heard complain elsewhere*

Well, the episodes will probably hop on YT sooner or later. Since the Canadians have it on FX. They'll probably DVR and upload the eps. But, that's not the point. The point is. If someone really wanted to see the soaps. They'd take the lousy hour out of their day to get on a website and watch them.

TRUTH, I think PP/Hulu/TOLN will keep a keen eye on YT and the episodes if uploaded there wont last long

I'm biased toward online programming, since I watch everything online, except for Scandal and some Food Network shows, but it really is better than watching on television, since you can watch when you want, plus pause and rewind.

Anyone who missed the shows, yet is complaining about the new format should be happy instead. Beggars can't be choosy and begging is just what some viewers were doing at one point.

You're going to drive up your blood pressure with this. Yes, it's sad and inexplicable at this point but what can you do?

On some level I've always known that the soap audience skews to the..ahem, older side of the demographic, I just didn't figure they would be so technically challenged on such a massive level.

Really. I don't know why people are getting themselves worked up. There's nothing to be done.

Honestly I think that things will get better once the shows start airing. Once people on FB start talking about the stories and what happened on the shows, I think some of these hysterics will stop jerking their knees and take the time to figure out how Hulu works because they'll feel left out. Right now it's fear of the unknown and fear of change...and ignorance. Big heaping bucketfuls of ignorance.

I suspect you might be right but I hope you aren't. Copyright issues aside, YouTube is a great gateway to new viewers. I understand why HBO shuts it down all the time but IMO, PP would be well-served to leave it be and look for ways to pull those people to the legit channels.

That makes total sense.

Absolutely--I mean you even now have HBO claiming that they don't really mind illegal Game of Thrones downloads because it adds up to more viewers in the long run.
