I hope Agnes has an archive of every OLTL, AMC and Loving episode just in case ABC tries to do something sneaky

from Soap Opera Digest.OLTL is casting a male character currently named Rich. He's going to caucasian and in his 30/40s.Rich will also be a handsome and confident businessman who enjoys being in the company of younger women. The role will be a recurring one.

Hello Destiny's Sugar Daddy! I hope he mixes it up with Clint and BE.

And Natalie.

I am almost positive she does not have any such archive, at least not of OLTL and probably not of Loving. ABC wiped a lot of the '70s out.

I suspect all of Loving is saved. She spoke about (I hope R Sinclair isn't reading this thread), in All Her Children (from 1975) how she was so envious of Curtis for having the foresight to pay to save all of his episodes of Dark Shadows, and then later we all know she finallygave in to AMC becoming an hour only if they would archive ALL of the soaps (I guess this is where her late 70s ABD Daytime Consultant position had weight.) The two great 1970 AMC episodes on her webside were both apparently discovered as kinscope 16mm film in her house by her grandson when she was moving--people have said there was a wearhouse she had of all of OLTL and AMC in kinescope but it burned down--but I've yet to hear anything official.

Still, I have zero doubt that, due to her feelings and the fact that by 1983 soaps were being saved anyway, Loving is all there. But, since Creative Horizons (or was it Dramatic Creations? One was her first company for OLTL and AMC and the other for Loving/The City) was her company, I am not sure where they would be kept--if they're in the ABC archives (more than likely) in which case I could see them easily being thrown out, lol, or she has them somewhere...

Or do you mean an archive of scripts? Didn't she donate all of that to Yale or one of the other big universities?

No there wasnt & SE in real life has lost a good amount of weight. Im so pissed at these "Fans" Giving all these actors [!@#$%^&*] cause they aint the originals. Just be happy the shows are back & wait to see how they handle the stories. Bashing on looks is beyond the dumbest thing ever

It's not just the fact that they got someone thinner. It's also the fact that they got someone lighter.

I have an open mind about the new people. At least those that were recast on OLTL were only two younger characters. It isn't like they decided to bring in a new Viki or Bo. If they had the new person would have gotten my pity and not my support.

And they recast Matthew. With an older sexier guy with muscles. Recasting Destiny with someone "lighter" is only a problem if it was intentional. They had casting calls. I'm sure more than one AA female in varieties of shades tried for the part. Should they have intentionally ignored lighter actresses? and I have no problem with recasting someone thinner.
