My Guess is that Blair bought Ultra Violet from Rex also renovated and renamed the joint. Less reminders of Rex and his Businesses the better!

BUT WHAT ABOUT IN CANADAAAAAAAA?!??!?!?!

C'mon girl--if you knew how they listed randoms in episodes of the soaps on the networks, this would be nothing new.

I think they actually used Kim's sister--have no idea her name. It was ridiculously awful, but it was maybe 3 minutes of scenes--and I don't think did any harm (and it got them a bit of press.)

Pipe down Eric...you can see it with me...hehewub.pngwink.png

She's recurring...seriously though as a payback we need a counterbalance in news. Not sure what that would be, that said I can get people being annoyed as there are a lot more important things that should be a part of the program.

I think that JWOWW will just create publicity for OLTL. They need as many people watching as possible, and many of JWOWW's 3.2 million Twitter followers are excited for her.

Of course, older people are complaining before her episode even airs. The girl might not be bad, watch her first.

These people need to realize that 1970's/1980's style soap opera is not going to cut it anymore. This is what got soaps cancelled in the first place, with too many baby switches, DNA tests, vampires, and the like. Soaps need to tell cutting edge storylines that appeal to a 21st century audience. Soaps need younger viewers to keep them going for generations to come. Viki, Dorian, etc. aren't going to be around forever, so we need to build up the younger generation.

PP is trying to get younger viewers, but I don't think they are alienating older ones. That being said, I wouldn't blame PP for just going after younger viewers. The older viewers are still having trouble figuring out how to watch the show, when it's been said 500,000 times that the show will be available for free on Hulu, on demand, NOT on TV. The younger viewers will have an easier time accessing the show.

She's got over 3 million followers on Twitter. If she can get some of those people to check out OLTL (that wouldn't have without her appearing), then it'll be worth it.

When I first saw the J-Wow news I was like "ughhh" but I don't really think it's a big deal, especially since it looks like she's just a recurring bartender. She could get a lot of new eyeballs on the show.
