Awwwww. I have no clue why, but I sort of feel protective over Eric. wacko.png

He seems really sweet and it sucks people are being shallow bitches about him.

I do too. It's hypocritical--first off, he's not unattractive at all (and certainly a certain ABC soap has a leading male who *coff* as mean as this is would fit that category much more.) But second of all it's a non win situation. People complain if they hire too many models with ripped abs and advertisethe show after that fact, and then they turn around and do this.

Oh, stop it. You're just defending him because he shares your name. ph34r.png

I think he's perfect for the role, and pretty cute. And I like him a lot so far, at least in concept. I think it was a unique, unconventional choice - not just another hardbody but the kid A.J. would probably turn out to be. And my name's not Eric.

...sigh... It's true. It's hard being an AMC fan when the best known Eric on the show is a clown/child sex peddler.

I have to admit, one bias when someone doesn't look like a CK Underwear model an is cast on a soap in a younger role--it *usually* means they really can act. (Not to say plenty of the models soaps hire--or hot actors can't act, but...)

You wouldn't be referring to a certain computer savvy Maxie loving geeky guy on the one remaining ABC soap, would you?
